How to Have More Money – Spend Less, Make More

You might think the above statement sounds like a really easy thing to say, but a really hard thing to do. You’d be right, money doesn’t grow on trees, and living is expensive. Despite that, there are a few tweaks you can make here and there, some you won’t notice, some you will, which will mean you have more in your pocket at the end of the month, and you’re not dipping into your overdraft on week number three.

Let’s have a look at a few of those little tweaks.

Get down with budgeting

Budgeting is no fun, but if you manage to establish yourself into a routine, eventually you won’t notice that you’re doing it. At the end of the month, when you get paid, write down all your bills, aka your outgoings, and then with whatever you have spare you need to look at the other things you need to live, such as food shopping money, clothes money, travel costs, socialising. Set yourself an amount for each and STICK TO IT! If you manage this, then you will find you don’t end up penniless by the time the next payday rolls around, which will then cut down on overdraft usage fees, meaning more money in your pocket.

Let’s get Technological – 5 Dating Sites to Help You Find Your Soulmate

These days, finding your future Mr or Mrs Right isn’t as easy as going out for an evening and heading to your local pub; in fact with the advent of technology has come a million other ways to meet potential beaus.

I am of course talking about dating sites, and indulging in what has become affectionately known as internet dating.

This is one of those Marmite subjects, and you’re either for it, or you’re totally against it. Whichever camp you’re in, there’s no denying that internet dating is now one of the most probable ways to meet a partner.

We all have busy lives now, and we don’t have a lot of spare time to go out and play the dating game, so of course the opportunity to sit in your pyjamas with a glass of wine, searching for a potential mate is a much more attraction option than singles night at your local club.

Effective Methods of Contraception

There are many forms of contraception available today, and the most popular is the oral contraceptive pill, commonly known as “The pill”. There are two types of contraceptive pill, the combined pill and the mini pill. Both are effective, but are different in their make-up, and for this reason, you should consult a doctor, who will advise you as to which type is best suited for you.

The combined pill

This is the most popular type used today and it is a combination of two female hormones, oestrogen and progestogen. More than 100 million women worldwide take the common pill and it is popular for the following reasons,

  • It is 99% effective
  • It reduces the risk of ovarian, womb, and colon cancer
  • It lessens period pains
  • It reduces the risk of non-cancerous breast disease
  • It reduces the risk of ovarian, womb, and colon cancer

The common pill comes in a 21-day, or 28-day pack. In the 21-day pack, all the pills are active, so one does not take any for the last 7 days of the menstrual cycle, which means one must remember when to start taking them again. However, the 28-day pack contains seven placebo tablets, which are taken during the last week of the cycle. Some women suffer side effects such as nausea, tender breasts, and mood swings. If these occur, you can get advice from Lloyds Pharmacy, an accredited online supplier.

The mini pill

The other form of contraceptive pill contains only the hormone progestogen, and while there are less side effects, it is not quite as effective as the combined pill, with a 90-96% effectivity. The mini pill is suitable if you,

  • Are over 40 years old
  • Suffer from migraines
  • Suffer from high blood pressure
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Are a heavy smoker

The mini pill is suitable for women who, for one reason or another, cannot take oestrogen. The mini pill can also make your periods irregular, or stop completely for a short time.

The right pill for you

There are several factors that influence which type of contraceptive pill is the most suitable. You may have to try several brands before you find the birth control pill for your body. There are slight variations in the hormonal strengths, so if you suffer with side effects, your doctor can make the necessary adjustments, which should result in a more settled experience. You should consult a doctor who will ask you questions about your medical history, and check your blood pressure and weight. Only then will your doctor make a recommendation regarding which kind of contraceptive pill you should take. The pill is the most popular form of contraception mainly as it offers a high level of protection, without causing you to make any drastic changes to your lifestyle. Many women prefer to consult an accredited online pharmacy, rather than visiting a doctor. By using a reputable online pharmacy, you can quickly establish which type of contraception is right for you, and receive a regular supply through the post.

When in Italy, How Can You Not Visit Rome?

This particular trip lasted 10 days, 3 of which we spent in Rome.

Before coming to Rome we didn’t have a plan on what to see or what to do. We visited most of the well known places Rome has to offer but also wandered around the city. We walked everywhere – and I mean everywhere. Therefore we saw a lot of hidden gems a bit further away from the touristy areas. At the end of the video you have the option to choose to explore 3 locations up close – the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and an awesome park that we named “Epic Park”. All of there things are big parts of the city and its culture and I tried to show as much of them as I could. My intention here is for people, who have never been to Rome, to feel as if they have visited this ancient city. What better way to do it than through a video?

This was my first time visiting Rome and the city exceeded my expectations. I was expecting it to feel more like a big city, but it didn’t. As I mentioned before, we stayed in Rome for 3 days and I think it’s enough to explore the Old Town part of Rome. Obviously if you want to explore the outskirts, a lot of its restaurants and cafes, then you’d need years for that.

If I would choose one thing that impressed me the most it would be the Roman Forum. I don’t really enjoy touristy places, but visiting this one was very delightful and I’m very happy I did it.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of interaction with the locals because I spent all of my time walking. So the only times when I did would be at restaurants or with some merchants on the street.

I would definitely return to Rome. When I was exploring the city I couldn’t stop thinking, but if I wanted to settle down in Europe for some time, this would be one of the cities I’d be considering. Really nice place!

This trip also included stops in Milan, Venice, Siena, Ornieto. Videos from some of these cities can be found on my Youtube chanel. I’m really thankful for Travel-Ticker.com for their contribution to this trip.
